Spurs Score Deal with Aspetar Hospital

England’s Tottenham Hotspur F.C., one of the largest football clubs in Europe, signed a priority agreement with top orthopedic hospital Aspetar in Doha, Qatar.

England's Tottenham Hotspur F.C., one of the largest football clubs in Europe, signed a priority agreement with top orthopedic hospital Aspetar in Doha, Qatar. The agreement formalizes an existing, unofficial relationship between the club and the hospital, which is considered one of the most advanced hospitals in the world for sports medicine and is a FIFA-accredited Medical Center of Excellence. As part of the deal, the club will receive priority access medical research and services including medical screenings, athlete rehabilitation and orthopedic surgery, as well as athlete performance assessments, nutrition support and podiatric health consultations. The Tottenham Hotspur, commonly known as the Spurs, are part of the English Premier league and have a global following of over 180 million people. —AG
