Middle East Company to Expedite Medical Product Entry, Access in MENA

NovoSci Healthcare combines growing healthcare demand and knowledge of the MENA healthcare market to better service companies and citizens in the region.

NovoSci Healthcare, a joint effort between NovoSci Group and Promo-pharma, is attempting to make it easier for small- and medium-size companies in the healthcare and pharmaceutical fields to bring their products into Middle Eastern and African markets. The two companies have expertise in pharmaceutical marketing as well as in fostering deals and sales of pharmaceutical products, and are hoping to take advantage of their familiarity with the MENA healthcare market to provide solutions for companies interested in offering their products to the region. President & CEO Dr. Nader Khedr explained the apparent gap these companies face, since many lack understanding of the region and the related expenses for market entry. To help combat these issues, NovoSci Healthcare was created to act as a resource for companies to access market information, and currently services more than 30 international companies in 11 countries in the MENA region, including Egypt, Saudi Arabia, South Africa and Kuwait. This venture also plans to provide greater availability of healthcare products to the MENA population, which is showing consistently high demand for quality health services, by bringing in innovative healthcare players from Italy, Germany and the U.S. NovoSci Healthcare has six primary focus areas, including ophthalmology, dermatology, women’s health, consumer health, pain management and anti-infective drugs.
